Today was our third Mounted Drill Team practice and things are progressing nicely. People are learning the patterns, learning to ride together without crashing into each other and generally learning their way around a dressage arena! Today we had 4 riders in the first group and were able to practice some Quadrille patterns. Only 2 riders in the second group, so they got to practice pairs riding. In the last group we have SEVEN which is a bit crazy, but everyone did well and everyone lived. Five of the seven are Peruvian Pasos, so it's always a challenge to combine gaited horses with non gaited horses in the same lesson.
